“Simple but comfortable room. We had tea and coffee to make and a small but functional ensuite. The property is close to good pubs and restaurants and was a good spot to stay at a good price. We paid to park Accross the road.”

“Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel.……

“Beautiful property just outside of the busy town. Extremely pretty location and setting. Had a small basic room with no view. I maybe could if bought a nicer room. Breakfast included and very nice. Everybody was extremely pleasant.”

“This accommodation is very remote. But really nice. The rooms are large and clean with nice en-suite facilities and the dining room - in an extended sun room - is spacious and comfortable. Very well run by a lovely couple we enjoyed our stay. Take dinner here - it’s very good value and enjoyable.”

“I was very disappointed with the facilities provided by the hotel to its paid guests. Occupants were not allowed to use the sauna and needed to book well in advance, and it's closed at 5pm, and if you are free in the evening, you don't have access to it. Also, it only allows you a 30-minute slot.”

“Had a lovely 1 night stay at Blair Villa. It is a cute little b&b style hotel that is located up a small hill, a couple minutes walk away from Oban town centre. We were welcomed in the property by a lovely host who promptly checked us in and gave us the room key. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a very modern bathroom. We also had a small bag of breakfast items left in the rooms mini fridge, which was a lovely touch. Overall me and my wife had a lovely stay at Blair Villa and we……

Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous.”
