"Pool was not clean. Gate was broken. The bathroom needs an update. Caulk is starting to mildew, etc. Room overall was clean, but smelled musty when we walked in. For the price and reputation of hi-ex we expected more."

"Conveniently located, the hotel staff was friendly & helpful. The free breakfast was pretty decent & helped cut expenses by filling our belly with waffels, sausage & other hot or cold breakfast options before setting out for the live music at the Big House. Really liked the room, it was clean & comfortable. Better than expected. I will stay here again when I come to Macon for Gabbafest, if not sooner for another festival. All in all, the event and our acommodations were a very pleasant experience. Looking forward to coming back next year if not sooner! Thanks, Macon! "
