We used the fire pit for hotdogs and s’mores, played Cornhole and fished everyday, took walks with the dog. We even drove into town and ate at Jimmy’s steak and seafood which was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful visit!"

"Came to Macon to visit old friends and had a lovely stay at this beautiful house. I was concerned at first because they requested payment outside of VRBO system and only had 1 review, but it was totally legit. Pool was beautiful and the views of the water are amazing. Kitchen looks brand new. There’s even a pellet ice machine built in. Anyway, we had a great time. It’s a cool house. I would rent the boats next time. Thanks again."

"One of the cleanest properties i have stayed in! Great use of space. Not overly decorated. Furniture was comfortable and well arranged for socializing. We gathered with 4 adult sisters, one child and parents. Kitchen was well stocked with essential dishes for cooking. Plenty of toilet paper in all 4 bathrooms. There are a lot of stairs! Mom was on crutches so she stayed on the main floor unless we were leaving the house. Great view down to the lake, the screened in porch was perfect for using...

"When I say this was the best home to stay in for our occasion it was absolutely amazing! We originally booked for 8 people but only had maybe 5 people come but the property was perfect and sooooo peaceful. "We had a wonderful time at this house. The location is quiet and very relaxing. The house was just as described - plenty of towels and kitchen equipment to eat in a few nights. This is 20 minutes to everything in Macon. The furniture was somewhat dated, but the beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and of quality standard. I would recommend staying here if you visit Macon."
