The host was the reason that I gave 2 stars instead of 1 but it can be described as 'roughing it' in broad terms, it is not by any sense a House Boat - nobody could live there. It's a boat, you could not stand up in places like the entry or the bathroom. The toilet didn't have a flush but a hose ...

Honestly there is no reason for any person traveling around the Netherlands / looking to visit Utrecht to ever step foot in Soest. It is an isolated suburban town with limited transport options. It will take you 40 minutes to reach Utrecht centraal.
