The staff came around a few times a day to tidy it up and it showed. The views of the pitons from the restaurant were magnificent and the pool was lovely as well. So why not a full five star review? While the room was clean our view was of the back of the restaurant and we could hear the staff well into the night. We get it, they're working. The grounds were lovely but there was very little direction to let you know about the amazing path around Rabat Lake or how easy the shuttles were to the beach. Lastly, I have to mention the $20 surcharge for a piece of chicken added to a salad. We stayed for 9 days at the start of a longer Caribbean trip. The service at the hotel is outstanding, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The luxe room was open to the rainforest experience, which was a great thing, but with some mosquito drawbacks. Despite the mosquito net over the bed, we had many bites. Eating at the hotel was very good, the food quality was excellent. The chocolate making tour and Soufriere experience (hot springs, waterfall, botanical gardens) were very good too. Great room, pool and restaurant views. Food quality was excellent and location of hotel was great for excursions, hiking and the sulfur baths! Constructive feedback - shower temperature was never warm in the morning. And the views were simply amazing. Everything was clean, the food was great along with the service. I loved the open air concept that allows you to connect with nature. Plus the location is near all the things I wanted to do. Overall it was such a wonderful experience.
