First the good: The estate is gorgeous and well maintained. We loved walking the trails among the flowers, bushes, and trees. The food is freshly prepared from local ingredients and beautifully presented. The location is also very convenient to Tet Paul, Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, and the drive-in volcano. The neutral: The lux lodges are basically outdoors. So that means bugs, birds, and humidity. But we knew that when we booked--no fault of the hotel's--and being in nature is part of the experience. And the bad: The food portions are comically small. If you did not purchase the all-inclusive package, the food is also very expensive. It would take 3-4 entrees to feed a normal human at a price of $30-$40 USD each. The staff is nice but not particularly attentive. Check-in was disorganized, and a few times we got the impression the wait staff was avoiding eye contact so they wouldn't need to assist us.

First time in St. Lucia. Wanted to take full advantage of island on an 8 day vacation. Initially booked Rabot and another hotel. Rabot experience was so outstanding, we left second all inclusive hotel after 1 night and returned to Rabot for the remainder of our holiday. The rooms, views, mountains, Caribbean Sea, abundant hiking trails, access to excursions, dining experience, proximity to a plethora of other outstanding restaurants, etc etc. etc. I cannot say enough about Hotel Rabot. Met some very wonderful staff who happily shared their beautiful country with us. Do not hesitate to book. It definitely was hard to leave, and we definitely will return. One of our most favorite vacations.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel for my husband’s birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food at the restaurant is amazing! The drinks are unique and tasty, the views are breathtaking and the overall experience is tranquil and relaxing. I recommend booking the sunset cruise during your stay. It was the highlight of our trip.
