“very good”

“Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it……

“Room was small . no wardrobe space. Bathroom only had a shower and everything was cramped. Access to the room was up a very difficult staircase. Staff were amenable. Food was o.k”

“Clean room, comfy bed and beach view were the only positives. Martello lounge had cheap furniture, not enough glasses for our drinks, lift was so small and only 1 lift for all those rooms. Champagne bar was closed for wedding Friday and private function on Saturday so we couldn’t use it. We got up early for sauna and steam room, reception area was old and tacky, we had a sauna and jacuzzi, lad on tag was in there with us, my wife felt uneasy so we left. Breakfast was very poor for the price……

“Friendly staff, good value food, best omelette ever for breakfast. Dyson fan in room was superb. Only small critique, extra coffee for breakfast was charged. Don’t do that, just put a couple of quid on the room price!”
