![If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.

“What a wonderful vacation! I stayed in early February 2026 on a mother-son getaway. We stayed in one of the spa suites and enjoyed the animals and the birds in the tree off our deck. I just can’t say enough great things about this place: the views (incredible sunsets), the food, Happy Hour cocktails, the pool, the friendly and attentive staff (shout out to Francisco, José, Roxy and Noelia). Be sure to rent a car and explore the area. And take advantage of the excursions that the hotel can book……

Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. ![If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.
