![If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.

“Rancho Pacifico knocks it out of the park! Treehouse Tamandua was incredible, infinity pool overlooking the whale’s tail was simply beautiful and every meal was amazing. Great variety, great taste, and I’d even go so far as to say the presentation was borderline spectacular. But most importantly it was the staff that made our stay near perfect. “Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. “I loved the serenity. Villa Bonita is private, clean, and has everything you need for a stay on the Osa Peninsula. I was there specifically for birding, and a short drive trook my guide and me to the best hotspots for finding endemic very special Costa Rica species. Great beaches and chocolate tours nearby too. The host commmunicated well by WhatsApp and the neighbors made themselves available for any kind of help. The bed was very comfortable. Thew kitchen has everything I could have needed.……

![If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see.
