1 bed cottage near beaches , tourist attractions, Port Royal Golf course, bus routes and restaurants. Fully air conditioned for comfort with internet tv in both rooms as well as free wifi . The cottage has a shower as well as a separate tub to soak in bliss. The kitchen is stocked with basics but on arrival you will be taken to the grocery store for a quick shop of preferred items .Excellent location for overflow guests coming to a wedding or a golfing holiday.

Across the street from the cottage is a private dock where you can sit out and have relaxing drinks or go for a swim or kayak. The sunsets are memorable ! You set the pace !!

In the evenings if you want to just relax and be serenaded by the sounds of crickets and whistling tree frogs while enjoying a glass of wine , sit out on the patio and enjoy the evening concert.

There is a bus stop within 100 yards of the house to get you where you want to go and restaurants within walking distance as well as a walking railway trail to see more of the natural beauty of the island. Should you not use public transport but prefer to rent an electric vehicle, there is a charge point at the cottage for your car

Delightful!
Excellent accommodations, immaculately clean, well equipped and attractive in every way. A major plus is meeting the Host, Thomas, on arrival, and again prior to departure. The property is well located on a major public bus route, but walking to and from the bus stops is treacherous and intimidating due to the absence of sidewalks on a windy and very narrow road full of buses, motorcycles, trucks and cars whizzing by. Of course I managed it, and I’m still all in one piece. Bottom line, this property and its Host, Thomas, rate an A+.

Our stay at Avocado Lane was Perfect! Thomas was an extremely knowledgeable host and provided many recommendations for restaurants and advice for our travels around the island. Great Accommodations and Host
Our overall thought was we just wanted to stay longer as we enjoyed Bermuda and the Cottage. The Cottage is located about halfway between Hamilton and the Dockyard so we purchased bus passes instead of venturing onto the narrow roads with either scooters or small electric rentals and that turned out to be the best decision as the bus service is reliable and clean and on time. We would happily return to Coral Point Cottage is the opportunity arises.

Coral Point Cottage
Very nice property. Locted close to beaches on South side and restaurants (check out the reefs restaurant). Would prefer my own car rental but buses, ferriesand taxis were great. Thomas, our host very helpful.

Lovely Cottage and Host
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Thomas goes above and beyond to provide assistance and suggestions when needed. He spent nearly an hour with us reviewing maps and making suggestions on restaurants, beaches, activities, and car rental. The cottage is clean and comfortable with a large living room, fully stocked kitchen and large bedroom with very comfortable king bed. Plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack. Beach towels, etc are included, as well as kayaks across the street at the private dock on the bay. Unless you plan to use the buses, you will need a Bermi or Twizzy or scooter to get around as it’s a very long walk to any beaches and restaurants. Otherwise it’s a 5 minute drive to the best beaches in Bermuda. If you are not a deep sleeper you will need earplugs at night cause the noise from the roosters is loud and starts at 5am each morning. Walking up the tribal road to the lighthouse is a long, steep and slippery climb, not recommended for many adults. With use of a Bermi, the cottage is in a great location to visit everything on the island. We loved our stay there and would come back again.

Coral Point Cottage - perfect location and host!
We had an absolutely perfect stay at Thomas' Coral Point Cottage. Thomas was a fabulous host; we can honestly think of nothing he didn't or wouldn't do to make our stay the best possible experience. He was very punctual and efficient with his communications throughout our trip, even arranging our pickup at the airport and transportation to pick up our scooter (as well as our return to the airport when we sadly had to go back home!). Thomas met us upon our arrival, and gave us a wonderful overview of the cottage, as well as recommendations on what to do and where to eat (Woody's, Wahoo's, LITT and Tamarind @ Gibb's Lighthouse were our particular favorites!). The cottage was lovely, with all the amenities as described, to include some grocery items to help with the stay. The living / dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were all quite nice and roomy, and we enjoyed making our breakfast and eating outside on the enclosed patio. We took advantage of the kayaks and had a wonderful time on the bay paddling around and seeing the view from the water. The location is wonderful, being fairly centrally located on the island and a very short walk to the Rail Trail, as well as a very short ride to the major south beaches. We were able to visit St. George, Hamilton and Dockyard easily with our scooter and spend time on the beach each day as well. Again, everything was perfect! We're excited to return (hopefully soon!)!

BERMUDA’s BEST COTTAGE!!!
We had the pleasure of spending a week at Coral Point Cottage. Our whole experience was wonderful! Thomas was a most gracious host! He arranged airport PU and a stop at the grocery for us. He was waiting at the cottage upon our arrival to greet us and give us specifics about the cottage and the island in general. When our Bermuda vacation came to an end & Thomas couldn’t make it to the cottage in time to see us off, he stopped by the car rental to bid us farewell. The cottage was spotless!!! It was well stocked with amenities, including beach towels, folding chairs, some bath amenities, plenty of linens & towels, quite a bit of kitchen staples, hairdryer, iron/ironing board and a washer & dryer. The bed had a memory foam type mattress that was extremely comfortable!!! He had a car charging station which was important to us as we rented a Bermi car for the week. He had 2 large flat screened TVs (if important to you). The private dock across the street overlooking Jew’s Bay was a lovely place to watch the sunsets (it had a dock house with bath & kitchenette amenities). To sum it up, we can’t say enough about Coral Point Cottage and these Bermudaful islands! We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous cottage near bay
Coral point is a wonderful cottage. Very clean and has all the amenities we needed. Cottage is near the bay with a lovely dock for watching the sunset. The cottage is also close.tonthenbusnline, which provides us quick and easy access to all the sites on the island.

A Southampton Jewel!
Thomas is a gracious and attentive host who made things easy right from the start by arranging the airport transfers, obtaining bus passes, and taking us to the supermarket for an initial supply run. He also filled us in on interesting sights and activities, Bermudian customs (kites at Horseshoe Bay on Good Friday!) and made great dining recommendations. The cottage is perfect for a small family (two adults and a child): comfortable, well-equipped, spacious, and full of light (and a breeze, if desired). It is surrounded by trees, bushes, and colorful plants, and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is visible through the foliage. A private dock – just over the road and down some steps – offers cozy spots to gaze at the myriad moored boats, nearby islands, and dense schools of anchovy. The nearby bus stops make outings convenient, as there is regular service to both Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard. It was a wonderful vacation – if far too short – and we will be back!

Simply Wonderful!!
Thomas is WONDERFUL!!! From prompt communication leading up to our arrival, arranging our pick up from the airport with a stop at a grocery store to having a home cooked Christmas Eve dinner waiting for us when we arrived, we could not have asked for a better host. He is a wealth of knowledge for navigating the island, there for you with any questions or needs and is so extremely helpful. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay, great location for using the bus and an easy walk over to the Gibbs Lighthouse and Horseshoe Bay. The bed is very comfortable as well! We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Bermuda!

How Many Ways to describe Awesome
Thomas is an Awesome Host! He reached out immediately to anticipate ways to make my stay enjoyable. He is thouhgtful, pleasant, kind, congenial and a treasure trove of knowledge. While browsing the VRBO site, I settled on two properties that presented well in photos. The photos don't do this property justice! I felt like I was staying in my own Family home. I had access to So much. As a single traveler, I felt quite safe. Transportation was convenient and easy. I am looking forward to my next stay.

An Absolute Gem
Coral Point Cottage is an absolute gem! It’s a tranquil oasis after a busy day and was perfect for our stay. Having met Thomas, we concur that he’s a Premier Host!! He made us feel so welcome and went out of his way to make sure that we had all that we needed and more. Peaceful Paradise
Coralpoint Cottage is a lovely private place to get away from it all. It is well kept, with little touches to keep guests comfortable and happy. There was coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, peanut butter, etc. available for us. The drinking water is probably the best we have ever tasted...so pure! We spent many evenings on the dock right across the street, watching the sunsets and listening to the tree frogs serenade us. Thomas is the ultimate engaging host. He makes sure his guests are comfortable and happy, and he offers helpful tips and advice on things to do, what to see, where to dine, etc. When we arrived at the airport, his go-to driver Calvin picked us up. Calvin is The Man...so kind, helpful, and dependable. If you want to experience true hospitality, stay at Coralpoint Cottage!

This is a real gem! The cottage is very comfortable and well set up, and Thomas is a wonderful host. He spent over an hour with me when I arrived, discussing things to do in Bermuda, where to eat, even where to find gifts for family members. The property is toward the western side of the island. There are bus stops nearby or, if you opt to rent an electric car, the cottage has charging ports to plug it in at night. The perfect base for a great Bermuda vacation!

Amazing Cottage and Host in Bermuda
We went to Bermuda to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We didn't want to stay in an impersonal resort, so we looked for something different. What we found was incredible. This cottage is everything that we could have wanted; cozy, comfortable, well-located, and with a wonderful sitting area on the water looking out over a marina. More important than the cottage itself is the incredible service provided by the host, Thomas. Thomas was in regular communication before we arrived, arranged our taxi from the airport and for other purposes, and made a run to the grocery store for some food for our first evening. He was always available, but never in the way. We just cannot say enough good things about Thomas as a host. Some additional context. Our anniversary night dinner included our two sons, who flew in from the US just for dinner, surprising my wife (as planned). Thomas also helped with those logistics by making sure they were picked up at the airport on arrival, suggesting a place for them to stay, and arranging that they would get to the restaurant before my wife and me, so they would already be seated. It worked perfectly, and Thomas was a big part of the reason. What an amazing surprise for my wife and evening it was for all of us! The cottage is exactly as pictured, well stocked with all we could need, clean and ready for us on arrival. There is a private patio for early morning coffee and son, and great bathroom with an excellent shower and soaking tub, a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. It sits off a main road, but we never heard the traffic. The cottage is located outside of any town. This makes it very peaceful, although you need to be comfortable with the bus system (stop is right nearby), or willing to spend money on taxis (which are pretty expensive), or have your own transportation (scooter or electric vehicle.) We rented a Bermi electric car from Localmotion on Happy Valley Rd. It was amazing. While a bit pricey, the car allowed us complete freedom to drive throughout the country without the fear we would have had on scooters. We did scooters years ago, but the traffic these days makes them much less of an option for us. And as an added bonus, the cottage has an electric car charge point that works with both Bermi's and Twizzy's (and maybe others). This is the best way to see the off-the-beaten-path beauty of Bermuda. If we could, we'd give this 10 stars. The best experience we've ever had with a rental!

Wonderful choice for a relaxed stay in Bermuda
This was a wonderful place. Thomas, the host, is amazing. Very communicative, very kind, lots of great advice about activities and insider tips, as well as the history of the island. He arranged our taxis to and from the airport--very above and beyond! The house itself is nice, clean, well-stocked, and more spacious than the photos make it appear. The location is good for hiking on the rail trail and climbing over the hill to beaches. It's a relaxed environment, with a sort of rural vibe and a farm next door. It is an easy commute to Hamilton or Dockyard by bus, but the buses can be challenging. Standing isn't allowed, so some buses will pass you by if they are full. Renting a scooter or twizzy might be a good idea . The cottage comes with access to the dock--we spent some time using the kayaks and relaxing with wine and cheese in the evening there. I'd highly recommend the cottage, and am grateful to Thomas for his super assistance.
