"Very good experience. Bermuda has a very good public bus system. we got passes from the Hotel and traveled very comfortably from the hotel to various attractions, later returning to the Bus Stops right in front of the hotel property. Food and staff were all fantastic."

"Lorna and her family are beautiful people. The Gemstones Property is high on a hill overlooking the most beautiful beach (Cross Bay) During our stay we basically had the beach to ourselves. The walk to beach from Gemstones is fairly steep but there are two other routes. It’s not an issue to sway a decision to stay here. We stayed 10 days and our taxi driver Belinda who is a beautiful person stopped in route to gemstone from airport at supermarket so we could buy food, beer and wine etc. We prepared dinner three nights on excellent Weber gas grill and enjoyed our meal on the deck overlooking the water. Just spectacular. The location is an easy walk to King Henry the 8ths restaurant and store (their chicken legs, fish cakes and fish chowder are a must). Also the Reefs is just a 15 min walk. We bought 7 day bus pass and traveled the island with ease. I could go on and on but I’ll close by saying that my wife and I have found our Bermuda Home!!"
