Limited breakfast option. Old property but could have been better mantained

We stayed here for one night while visiting Corning. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean, and the innkeeper was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The accommodations weren’t as historic or charming as we’d hoped. The property could benefit from a bit of a refresh. That said, it was comfortable, served its purpose for a one-night stay, and offered good value thanks to its convenient location and free parking.

This hotel smells wet and moldy. Doesn’t look like the rooms have ever been remodeled. Although the front of the hotel looks nice. I stayed there Saturday-Wednesday and my key did not work at all. Every time I returned to my room I had to have the staff open my door. There was no room service. The same trash can and large yellow bin was in the hallway my entire stay. The location is convenient only because it’s the only hotel in town.

Clean room and good breakfast. Water pressure could have been better. Likes the shower cubicle instead of bathtub.

We stayed for 2 nights. After day 1, the bathroom sink clogged, we asked them to fix it before we went for our day trip. But we found the sink was as is when we returned. This was very unprofessional. Other than this, staff is overall helpful.
