The location is close to the springs and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and had everything you may need while you stay. We spent most of our time kayaking or floating in the canal behind the house. We saw so many manatees I lost count. One day two baby manatees were playing in our canal for more than half the day. There is a single step into each of the bedrooms which I did notice in the pictures. Bed mattress was softer than what we like but we still were able to enjoy restful sleep. Neighbors were very nice. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Family used the kayaks and paddleboards the owners provided. Our dog (and us too) loved watching the birds in the area. We didn't see manatees in the canal but did in other locations. Location is close to shopping & restaurants. We enjoyed kayaking, we rented GoBoats, and enjoyed the Weeki wachee state park which was just down the road. The last night on our dock we actually saw a dolphin swim by. We also saw lots of manatees, turtles and birds. We really enjoyed how close this property was to the really clear water.
