This hotel is beyond beautiful and worth the stay. Every detail and amenity is well thought out, accompanied by the most kind staff. So often hotels that boast about being the best, fall short. But this hotel is truly an experience that was worth every cent and effort to get here. Breakfast is amazing, the views of The Old Course are breathtaking, and being in the heart of St Andrew’s is a memory that will never get old.

If you are a golfer and are planning a visit to St. Andrew’s, you should consider The Old Course Hotel. From the time we arrived to the time we left, the staff were incredibly friendly and wonderful. The hotel is amazing and our room overlooked the “Road Hole” (#17) with an amazing view of motor the course. We will definitely be back!

The Old Course Hotel is, without question, one of the finest hotels in all of Great Britain and an absolute must-visit for any golf lover. The location alone is iconic, but the entire experience lives up to it. You have to go! Everything about the hotel feels exquisite and high-end, from the rooms and common areas to the service and overall attention to detail. The staff were excellent throughout our stay...professional, welcoming, and always helpful. Two thumbs up. The food was also superb. Every meal we had was beautifully prepared and added to the overall experience. Staying here feels like much more than just visiting a hotel; it’s part of the St Andrews experience itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to return, hopefully next time with my entire family.

This is the most picturesque location for a historic round of golf. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The amenities are top notch and the hotel is walkable to the town center.

The room was absolutely beautiful. Check-in was smooth and the check-in team was so lovely and helpful. We ordered room service, and they were so prompt and lovely. We enjoyed some food at the Jigger Inn and the staff there were also really amazing. One particular member of staff was a champ at helping us pay for a bill for a table of 12 people. They also accommodated my husband’s allergies and were really top notch about it. We got to St. Andrew’s by way of train, we pulled in to the Luechers train stop and then took the bus to St. Andrews, the bus stops directly at a bus stop right down the road from the hotel, and it was a 2 minute walk to the hotel.
