If you’re looking for an elegant, pristine hotel set beside a stunning azure‑coloured ocean, this is the place. From the balconies, you can sometimes spot whales passing by. The property itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with three different pools and easy access to other parts of the island. During our stay, the room alarm went off a few times over several days. I never complained, and when staff came to check, I simply mentioned what had been happening. The next day, I returned to my room to find a beautiful bottle of rum with a handwritten apology, thanking me for my understanding and for being a valued guest. I couldn’t bring it home, but the gesture meant a lot and spoke volumes about their hospitality.
One thing to note is the relaxed, laid‑back culture, which is part of the charm. You really do need to slow down and lean into it. There is a beach on one side of the hotel, accessible by walking over rocks when the tide is low, a lovely walk, by the way. When the tide is high, access requires taking the road, which isn’t very walkable, so a rental car or bus is recommended. The location is excellent and close to some of the most beautiful parts of the island, including Horseshoe Bay and several small, picturesque coves. If you visit in the off‑season, it truly feels like you have these beautiful beaches to yourself.
