Bathroom Not completely clean. They were out of butter at breakfast and indicated it had been a few days out.

Visit to St. George and Zion.

Posted Jun 22, 2017
Pros: Easy access to the I15 and also the largest hotel in town.
Location: We were able to visit local museums in St. George and travel to Zion National park.
Booked a two night stay at Red Lion hotel and conference center for a mini vacation and a trip to Zion National park. I was able to check in 2 hours earlier which was a plus. Had a nice clean non-smoking King room with desk, dresser, TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine and iron and ironing board. Also a nice comfortable chair and ottoman. The bed was comfortable and had two good nights sleep. The facility had a combination indoor/outdoor pool with a hot tub/spa. Also included was a free hot breakfast with eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, hot cereal, bagels, toast and two waffle machines. Plenty of coffee and juices were included. Free local newspapers were available at the front desk. All in all a fine stay at the Red Lion.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Posted Jun 5, 2017
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: NO HOPE HERE
Location: NO thank you
Upon arrival we were assigned room 104, My family and I entered room 104 only to be surrounded by cigarette smoke aroma. All rooms were supposedly smoke free, not this one. I contacted the Front Desk and was moved to room 129 that was next to a room that was being remodeled and appeared to have had mold. We entered room 129 and to our disgust the easy chair had a large grease stain, the desk chair was completely broken, the bathtub had rust around the drain, the door would not shut completely and the curtains would not close all the way. The carpet was stained and very ratty and must have been the original carpet. I made arrangements for a stay at a another Hotel in the St George area. I immediately returned to the Front Desk and informed the Staff that we were checking out and was rudely told I would only get one of the two days I booked refunded and that I would have to get a receipt from Expedia. Upon arrival to my other Hotel I contacted Expedia and they worked hard and efficiently and got me a 100% refund. the Red Lion Hotel Staff are most unprofessional and RUDE and do not care about their guests. I feel Expedia should not do business with the Red Lion ever again. I totally praise Expedia for getting my refund and their professionalism. And I feel the Expedia is the BEST in the Business. So all you travelers out there DO NOT EVER STAY AT THE RED LION HOTEL IN SAINT GEORGE UTAH.

Great room for our family. Plenty of space for all of us to sleep and my kids loved being so close to the pool

Well taken care of hotel in a good location.

We stayed two nights as we played in St. George and vicinity. The motel was just fine and in a very good location. It was well cared for, provided a breakfast, was quiet at night because the rooms are not right on the street. Also, it has full sized toilets, not miniature ones that you find in some places.

Perfect location

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Pool, room layout
Cons: Breakfast, staff
Location: Close to downtown. There's a Kmart right across the street, and many things to do around the hotel
The location was fantastic. I liked the room layout. The beds were perfect for me, but my husband thought they were too soft. The pillows are fantastic. We didn't spend much time in the room, so other than cleanliness and comfort, I don't have a lot to say. They were renovating the rooms next to us while we were there. It got really messy and loud on occasions. It would have been nice to be placed where they weren't renovating. Breakfast was okay, but it wasn't stocked well. They kept running out of things such as food and utensils. Breakfast consisted of eggs, different meats each day, waffles, biscuits and gravy and cereal. There also weren't many places to sit. We ended up having to sit on some chairs next to the food because you can't take food back to your room. The pool was great. I liked how it was half indoors, half outdoors. My kids had a lot of fun. Hot tub was nice, but on the small side. My only other complaint was check-in. I stood there for 10 minutes while the ladies at the front talked on the phone. The lady who checked me in was also really hard to understand. The stay wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best we've ever stayed at. We also stayed there for a week

Needs some updates!

Posted May 15, 2017
This hotel was overpriced for the condition of the rooms and pools. If you pay more than 50 than chose somewhere else. This place was old, and run down. The pool was disgustingly dirty, breakfast mediocre, room run down. The staff was nice, lobby looked niceish, and sheets were clean and looked fairly new. Would have gone elsewhere had I seen it first.
