“Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”

“Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed.”

“This was a little hidden gem that we will definitely return to. It was a wonderful base and the shared facilities- bathrooms and kitchen, was perfect with little extras like snacks and hot drinks to help yourself to. It was a couple of minutes walk to bus stops, Lidl, convenience stores, Dominoes Pizza and take away. It was about 15 mins to the station and the start of the walk into town.
