At the Long River Lodge in Melville, Louisiana. Had a great weekend of skeet shooting and pheasant hunting. This town was quaint and the Cannatella grocery had some excellent food!

"We rented for 3 wks for work in the area and really enjoyed coming home from hard day at work and sitting on the dock and screened in porch. Owners were friendly and checked on us regularly. I would stay again in a heart beat. "

"This is a very cool place that has everything. This getaway place is near the city but feels like it is at a campground. We loved the 2 different houses and the outdoor area with the firepit. It has plenty of parking, space to relax and 2 kitchens that has ample supplies. Check-in and out was convenient as well. We brought some extra chairs and enjoyed sitting by the river which was nice. I'd definitely recommend staying here to enjoy some rest & relaxation. "

"This cabin was beautiful, the scenery was excellent. The cabin had everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable! The screened in patio area was wonderful, and the walk way down to the deck had lights that switched on when you were walking at night. That was a plus! The outdoor kitchen was where we spent most of our time, it had everything to keep our family entertained, from a huge tv to plenty of space to let the kids run free. "The house and property was super nice! I’d definitely recommend and would stay again!"

"The pool was dirty, frogs and bugs . Not heated. The gazebo had boards lose, my 8 yr old kept tripping on the broken steps, their was no trampoline , the way get to the pool house from the driveway makes it difficult to get your luggage through. The air conditioning didn’t work . The owner tried to fix it but it still was so hot we could not sleep. It stopped working again. Their was so hot water for shower . We would not recommend this as a place to stay ."
