It’s a bit of a dump, but my room is clean. And that’s all I need for this trip, a clean place to sleep. And the bed is comfortable.
This is an older, well-worn hotel in dire need of cleaning and renovation. When I travel, I don't need much, just a clean bed and bath is all I'm looking for. My bed was clean and comfortable, and the place was quiet, so 2 stars for that. There was no housekeeping, so anything needed you had to ask for. The lighting in the room was dim. There was not much room on the small desk/table to work because the microwave was on it. A lamp had to be unplugged so you could plug in the microwave if you wanted to use it. There was no coffee available or a coffee maker, no ice or water, or other amenities. I did notice a single washer and dryer. Only the very basics here.
No toilet paper, not even the toilet paper roll holder on the wall. What appeared to be blood on the bathtub floor.
Room was clean otherwise but a few bugs in room because they’d mopped the floor and left door open to dry.

The hotel was easy to find and comfortable. However getting a hold of the proprietor during the day or night was kind of tough. Plus there were some other spooky customers. Even though the price was reasonable I would rather pay more to stay elsewhere next time.
The check in its fast. Not a huge property but very convenient. It sure match the price and location. Its a quiet area. The bed was clean. It has a microwave and a fridge very good. Unlike other expensive hotels. The king size bed was very comfortable and clean. Everything was great. The toilet needs a good scrapping. That was the only disappointing thing there besides that Everything else was great.
The hotel is very convenient to major highways. The family members who run this facility are very friendly and anxious to please.
The hotel and its rooms are very old and run down.
The curtains in our room were old, and hung in droops across the curtain rod. We could see that the plastic inner lining of the curtains had melted onto the window glass, and when pulled off, left residue on the window.
The mattresses were about 4 inches thick. The beds were made up with a mattress, a fitted sheet over it, and the bedspread. No top sheet.
The there was no refrigerator. The microwave had a washcloth stuffed below it to prop it up so it would be level.
A shelf below which were clothes hangars was propped up on one side by an ice bucket on the bottom, with a piece of wood on top of it that extended to, and helped hold up, the right side of the shelf.
There was no ice service - the ice machine looked like it had not been operational for many years.
So why did I stay here, you may ask - well, I made the reservation and paid for it with Expedia. After I saw this place I decided to forfeit what I had paid to Expedia, and I went elsewhere.
I post this review with regret. The family that runs this hotel is trying hard to make a living, and I applaud that. But this place is not near what they are charging - I only booked here because rooms were scarce due to the April 2024 solar eclipse.
Best wishes to the Loyalty Inn and to fellow travelers -
I mean for $70 a night the room smelled like smoke. The bed was probably 25 years old. The floor was splitting the carpets were not the carpets but the drapes were splitting. I mean it was everything I expected so I can’t be that mad.
Checked in and the lobby was messy and looked falling apart , old building in very poor repair , heater did not work , got a new room and door would not unlock , floor tiles were separating and had huge gaps , wall moulding coming off , entire room very grungy looking , stayed three nights and no change of sheets or towels , no phone in room , overall a very unpleasant experience
Our first room wasnt even ready when we got there past check in time. They gave us another room that had mold, cracks in the ceiling, holes in the sheets and the tub wasnt even mounted correctly. We had to go buy sheets and towels. 10/10 would not recommend
You could see cinder block thru the wallpaper
The casing for the heat/AC was off, dirty, and barked like a dog.
There was several gaps in flooring making me walk unsteady.
Holes in walls
Exhaust fan did not work and was in process of being taken apart.
The front wall was plywood painted orange, the curtains was nailed to wall and couldn't open them.
