Check-in and communication with host was easy/prompt. The location was great, very clean and welcoming and within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Second Year in a Row
This is our second May in a row staying at this property and this property is great. The owners Ed and Melanie have been excellent both times and I love the location with a driveway where you don't have cars on both sides of you. We both like riding our bikes so we pretty much park the car and everything is a short bike ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

The bungalow was quaint, clean, cozy and perfect for our needs! We appreciated having a grill to use and our own little patio area to relax on. The host was kind, easy to communicate with, and responsive. A very enjoyable stay in a great location!

St Simons vacation experience
Small apt, part of a large home, comfortable and cozy. Really nice bathroom. Cute private patio but unfortunately had an issue with carpenter bees so wasn’t really used. Owner trying to resolve cuz of a nest. Great location and short walk to the beach. Really nice town with such attractive homes that were so inviting looking. The Pier area was really nice to visit and not a long walk. Many nice restaurants. Town was easy to walk and navigate. Include a visit to Jekyll Island and bike ride if possible. Safe and beautiful.

Great Little Place
Had a great time on St. Simons while staying in this cute bungalow. Quiet neighborhood within walkable distance to downtown and close to beach access. Particularly liked East beach and Neptune park. Melanie was very accommodating when we had to change our plans last minute. Highly recommend!!

Great location on St. Simon’s Island
We highly recommend staying at this wonderful place! Tastefully furnished with just the right amount of space for the two of us. Located close to the charming town, but in a quiet neighborhood. We could hop on our bikes and get to bike paths easily. This cozy lodging was welcoming, very clean and comfortable.

First visit to SSI… this little apartment was immaculate and very new/modern. Heater wasn’t working great but we had plenty of bedding to keep us warm. Comfy bed, great shower, very quick communication from our gracious host.

Always a terrific experience!
Melanie’s place is truly a home away from home. We have stayed twice and intend to actually arrange our visits to kids and grandkids around her property’s availability. It is scrupulously clean, tidy, well-arranged, convenient, secure, and eminently comfortable and quiet. We love cooking in the small and efficient kitchen and the brad is heavenly. The shower area has become a model for our upcoming bath refreshment project. A great place, indeed!

Great place for a getaway
Perfect location for any couple looking to get away from it all. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Tucked back in a quiet, scenic neighborhood, it is such a relaxing atmosphere to recharge from the stress. Definitely returning in the future.

Anniversary getaway

Property was perfect. Perfect for getaway, perfect distance to beach, perfectly furnished (the most comfortable, soft, float in the clouds matress), all kitchen appliances (coffee maker, Krieger, toaster, blender), immaculately clean and thoughtful finish touches (like little packets of condiments, jellies, sugar and cream), Laundry detergent and dryer sheets, and EXTRA toliet paper, paper towels and trash bags. The managers of this property covered all the bases to make sure we felt personally welcomed and I think they did a wonderful job. Oh, they even asked when they sent the welcome papers if I wanted a late check out to request it and they would see what they could do, so I did and they were able to extend it an hour. They were veery accommodating. We ❤️ our stay.

Our new favorite Tiny Home on SSI!
We have rented many many accommodations across all platforms over the years and this one now stands at the top of our list. It filled all of our needs: just the right size; proximity to what we love to do; close to our SSI family; in the middle of our bike-riding zone; close to pickleball, beach, restaurants, the Neptune pool, the lighthouse, and the beachfront. Melanie was super helpful with our questions and the property is quiet and comfortable. We highly recommend this for a couple. We intend to try to stay here on subsequent trips to SSI. 😊👍

Perfect beach bungalow
Melanie was the best host and the stay was the best. Kitchen was fully furnished, nice towels in the bath room, washer & dryer was a perfect must have and the neighborhood was adorable. We enjoyed our walks with coffee in the mornings and the proximity of the beach. The outdoor sitting area was an added bonus and we were close to everything we needed in town. Great vacation and will definitely recommend this VRBO.
