"This home was fantastic!!! There were 3 of us (my husband and my teenage daughter and me) and we had sooo much room. Our beds were incredibly comfortable and the owners really thought of everything that you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked with oils, spices, pots and pans. The grill was great (Weber) and we used it nearly every night. There were so many cozy little books to cuddle up with a book and just lose yourself to the sound of the river. And it was absolutely adorable decorated. A perfect mix of vintage, modern and functional. You really are in the middle of nowhere so plan accordingly. We bought groceries at Cartwright's and got necessities at the main street liquor store in Medford and we were set for the entire week. (There was even a pitcher for our margaritas at the house that we used every day!) We went to Jacksonville for some fun shopping, Wildlife Images Rehab to see the work these amazing people are doing, petted alpacas and enjoyed wine at Rellik winery, sat by the river and tasted more wine at Red Lily winery, swam in the reservoir about 10 minutes from the house, went to Pennington Farms (twice) for cookies and snacks and just enjoyed the beautiful property that we were on. We saw deer, squirrels and turkeys and we even had a baby fawn and her mama make a stop right by the front door of the house!!! Truly a most relaxing vacation that we would highly recommend to any family that just needs to take a moment and breathe. We will be back!"

"My husband and I stayed at the house for only 2 nights and we wished could have stayed longer. The house was amazing. It was well furnished and the bed was so comfy. And those heated bathroom floors …… My husband tried to fish the river but it was too high, but it was nice to listen to at night. We enjoyed an afternoon at Red Lily Winery. We were wishing we would have brought more people to enjoy the experience. We will definitely be back."

"Such a beautiful little cabin nestled in the mountains. It was very comfortable and accommodating. The peace we felt there was awesome. Host was kind and welcoming. Perfect little getaway. Views from the cabin were breathtaking. Definitely at the top of our vacation experiences. We didn’t want to leave and hope to come back soon. Thank you! (Bear in mind, this literally is a cabin in the woods. I would recommend stopping by the grocery store BEFORE heading to the cabin. It is a 20 min drive to go back.)"

"Charming little one-room cottage, scrupulously clean, fantastic winery just over the bridge on the Applegate River. I liked seeing the sheep and goats out in the pasture through the bathroom window as I was brushing my teeth! "

"Close to Jacksonville. We spied wild turkeys and deer coming up the long uphill drive to the property. The house was a little chilly upon arrival but warmed up nicely. The internet was good. Plenty of room, lots of towels, with laundry facility and nicely supplied kitchen. The outdoor surrounding and views were wonderful. Our host was very responsive and helpful."
