The hotel is a great place. Parking is convenient at a cost but not unreasonable. Reception was very efficient and quick, we upgraded to a deluxe king which was great. All the facilities are spot on and a great touch was the deicer in reception, it was very cold. Breakfast was really good, nice variety, very tasty with excellent service. Handy for all the sights and good restaurants.

The hotel room had all the essentials we needed. There was significant wear on the carpet in our room but all in all, it was a comfortable stay. The hotel is very well located for the city centre and the castle etc.

Room and location great! Staff was great. Drinks at bar were much more expensive than at restaurants and pubs around Stirling. Breakfast was disappointing. Need decent coffee to start and quality of cooked items was not gray compared to other hotels we've stayed at in UK.

4 stars because of the value. The hotel is a bit dated, but fine. The room was small, and the bed not the greatest, the bathroom was nice. But I found the hotel charming- and the staff excellent. The bar in the hotel is cozy and friendly (a special thank you to Chris for making us feel welcome!). The location is excellent in the center of historic Stirling. It seemed like parking was pretty easy (though we didn't have a car). I would recommend, with reasonable expectations.

Great Locaton & Comfortable

Great location near Stirling Castle, Holy Rude, pubs & restaurants. We opted for the breakfast which was good & a time saver. Only downside is the lighting in the bathroom. There is none at the sink & mirror.

The staff are lovely, the location is great and the parking is easy and reasonably priced. The hotel itself needs a lot of money spent on it. It’s 3* at best. In our room the paint on the ceiling was flaking off, there’s a large greasy mark on the wall and the carpet was completely threadbare in some areas.

The room was nice and big, just a little run down. It was mostly clean but the bathroom could have been better. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful but not so much at breakfast. Continental breakfast options were limited and only 2 options were included in the breakfast. A further charge of £5 is added for anything thats not a scottish breakfast or filled roll. Location was great. Plenty of parking available and not too bad a price for overnight.
