The Colessio is perfectly situated for exploring the historic old town and castle and for venturing down the hill to the town centre. I cannot fault anything from walking into a light and comfortable reception to leaving after a tasty and filling Scottish breakfast after one of the most comfortable night's sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. The bed was just perfect as was the room and its amenties.

Very welcoming from the front door, friendly staff at all times. Great room and facilities - smidgin of a complaint - the bath was too high for us to be able to use the shower with ease! Breakfast was excellent with a great choice on offer, no complaints there. Definitely our first choice of hotel when we return to visit family, or even for a short break. The property was very clean and centrally located to everything in sterling. All the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only small thing that could be improved on is the lighting in the room and bathroom. There needs to be a light over the bathroom mirror. Overall this was a great place and I would stay there again.

Although the room was not the largest I’ve ever stayed in, and I would have liked better illumination to do my makeup, my stay was perfectly pleasant. The shower was a delight— a big shower head and lashings of hot water. Being an older building, the sound insulation was much better than in some more modern hotels, lending itself to a peaceful night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed. The location was very good for all that Stirling city centre had to offer. I have already booked another stay for next year.

We stayed overnight before my daughter's wedding for a dinner in Stirling. I loved the vibe, historic Scotland on the outside, contemporary restaurant, bar and rooms on the inside. My bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. It is a great walk to downtown Stirling. Only one thing I would wish for and that was air conditioning. However, this was July and not something one would encounter as outside it was chilly but the windows didn't really let in the cool weather. However, the hotel is really lovely and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

My daughter and I only stayed one night at Hotel Colessio, but it was a great stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was amazing—modern, stylish, and one of the nicest we've had in a hotel. We would have loved to stay longer and wouldn't hesitate to book here again the next time we're in Stirling.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we're really happy with the hotel. It was a great base for us as we spent most of our time out exploring Stirling and Edinburgh but was a lovely hotel with super friendly staff. I'd say the only slight issue with our room was the window behind the bed as the shutters don't fully keep the light out but that was only an issue for me as a light sleeper. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel was nice and room was spacious and clean, we noticed that the bar area was quiet and no one in the restaurant, mybe they could do some offers on food to entice customers in also if it had some entertainment in the bar we might have stayed in, only gripe I have is having to pay for parking in a hotel that should be free,
