"Awesome place in a very quiet setting. Host was always very responsive to my messages leading up to our stay. Did not need to contact him after we arrived or through the rest of our stay because everything was awesome. Would definitely stay here again in the future since we have a student at JMU and it is only about a 30 min drive away.Funny thing my wife and child were a little scared driving up to the house sitting in the middle of a field wat off the main road since we did not check in until after dark. So I advise if you do stay here maybe check in during daylight hours. Everyone fell in love with it the next morning and was saying how beautiful it was in the daylight."

"Fantastic property! A true getaway in the trees. Remote enough to feel away from it all but easy to get to town for supplies and to Shenandoah National Park for all it has to offer. The cabin is well stocked with all the essentials with some nice added amenities (hot tub, grill, fire pit). The view off the deck - anytime of day but especially including the sunset — is spectacular. Would recommend a car with AWD to navigate the driveway or would suggest parking at the top and walking down. The hosts were tremendously helpful with every question and issue we had. So grateful for them! It was hard to leave and will definitely be back! "

"We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful house, which is even better than in the photographs. The kitchen and eating area with large raised porch off the back with incredible views was perfect. All of the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The house was clean. The pool and hottub were a special treat. Already looking forward to coming back soon. Note the house is very close to the ski area Massanutten which we enjoyed (hiking/waterpark etc)"
