“The check-in email got blocked as Spam and I emailed, texted and called the property several times seeking information. Nobody ever responded. We sat in our car in the sun in the parking lot for several hours waiting for check-in help. Finally figured it out by ourselves after finding the email in spam folder. The place sleeps 5, but the couch only seats 2 comfortably. They boast of cereal and stuff available. No, there isn’t. No smart TV, only basic cable which seemed to have OLD sitcoms or……

“The front desk ladies were very friendly and accommodating, the facilities were beautiful, the location was great, and we had access to a kitchen (though no silverware/ dishes) and W/D for a fee. Great stay!”

“This is a great place to get away. The hosts are amazing! Great shops within 20min and a beautiful property. If going far, take a taxi to the train station, taxis are very expensive.”

“Property was easy to find with good signage on the front. Host sent detailed instructions also. We were later than expected due to travelling from Wicklow but host was friendly and welcoming. We weren’t able to park as had been instructed but we were offered an alternative option. Property was grand for our night stay with our elderly dog. Everything you could need to store fresh food/make dinner etc. While getting ready the next morning we were left without any water for approx 45mins at……

“Easy enough check in process and clean enough room- totally understand hotels are busier at a weekend with events on but I just don’t feel this box room was worth what I paid. To get right into the centre it was a 30 min walk almost. Check out at 10am was rubbish, lifts and stairs were packed with dozens of people running at 9:50am to reception- most hotels are 11am or even midday to check out. Hotel listing made it sound as though the tv and fridge was in your own room rather than the wider……
