The house itself was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The fire pit was an ideal place to sit around and spend time with friends. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal getaway from the city. Overall, it was a truly relaxing and memorable experience—we’d love to return!"

"The house was well stocked, homey and clean. Everything was as expected except, there didnt appear to be a place for an 8th person to sleep unless the couch was counted. One of the queen bed was too hard for anyone to sleep on, the others were okay for 1 night, maybe 2. "

"This place is amazing. If you like being upstate you will love it. The grounds are spectacular, there are a few beautiful ponds and a lake on the preserve. We stayed 3 days and had no reason to leave, everything you need is on the grounds. The room was great, very modern and everything was super comfortable. "

"This charming little loft was the perfect escape. It was exactly as described — beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is incredibly peaceful yet still close to the highway and town. We loved making s’mores by the fire pit, and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer."

"The host was very courteous and let me know everytime she would be unavailable, if she was unavailable she still had someone able to be reached for any issues. The house was nice and the process was very easy for checking in and out, there is a lot of open space and room for activities. Not a lot of places to visit around the house but the house is for sure the highlight if you are wanting to make the trip to Monticello. Nice house for groups and events."

"This was a lovely little cottage on a shared property in a remote wooded area. The amenities (pool, fireplace, and trampoline) were great hits with my kids and the setting in the woods was stunning. The hosts were exceedingly gracious and kind. That said just note that the property is shared so you are utilizing the grounds of the host. "

"This was one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Tons of bedrooms and bathrooms (so many showers and they were all pretty large), plenty of different spaces to hang out including the main first floor where the kitchen/dining room/living room is all combined, basement with various games (pool table, video games, arcade game, workout space, chess), and so much outdoor space. Pool is heated and spacious, there’s 2 different fire pits, an outdoor table that’s well shaded, dock/lake area. Space was very clean, plenty of linens/towels, kitchen was very well equipped. No issues with wifi and there was even wifi by the pool. Check in was easy and host was always responsive. Highly recommend for a big family or friend trip"

"My family of 10 which included two kids had an amazing stay at Shira’s house. We enjoyed how clean and simple it was and Shira was so easy to communicate with. The kids absolutely loved the heated pool and we all took advantage of the indoor hot tub! We played board games as a family in the dining room and the bedrooms were also very comfortable. The two refrigerators in the kitchen was also very helpful for us as a big group. Thank you so much!! I hope we will be back! "

"We booked the 2 houses for my daughter and her friends to celebrate the end of their senior year. This property was amazing! Besides the grounds being beautiful right on the lake, the lake house was perfect. It was clean and so stocked with everything you might need (we brought our own food and beverages) I was so impressed. There were 3 bedrooms in each, the lake house was definitely bigger and had more to offer, but the other was fully stocked, clean and comfortable and it did have a hot tub, fire pit and screened in sitting area with a comfy couch and table and chairs. The lake house also had a hot tub, and an amazing screened in porch with a gas fire pit that we thoroughly enjoyed. The lake was so much fun with paddle boards and kayaks and a floating dock. (we did not use the motor sports, but they were there) The rec room was amazing when the kids wanted to be loud and have fun. We played volleyball and sat around the fire pit with the Adirondack chairs. There is also a great bbq area. The houses look just like they do in the pictures and I would go back in a second! And when I had a question I texted Jason and he got back to me right away. Also the supermarket and liquor store was a 2 minute drive.This property a 10/10!!!"

"Our stay was great even though it rained 3 days we were there the house is very cozy and if you open up all the blinds it’s like you’re still sitting outside! If you have a dog this is a perfect place to set them up with a long lead and let them hang outside with you or walk the property with them which our dog never got old of! Definitely will be staying here again in the fall. "

"Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "
