"This was our second stay at this peaceful, clean house and we have already booked another stay. It is on a quiet road with a roomy kitchen, comfortable dining area and family room. My favorite part is sitting in the adirondack chair with my feet in the Pamlico Sound drinking my morning coffee watching the pelicans fish. It is a favorite get-away home away from home that is an easy bike ride close to the fun shops and delicious seafood."

The decor is tasteful, the home very comfortable, and Melissa was very attentive and responsive. We had one issue upon check in but Melissa was quick to respond and resolve it. "We stayed at the canal house. Most of the time spent was at the beach, but the time that we were at the house was really nice. It was very clean and I loved the owners sense of style. The house sits right next to a canal and it was nice to drink my coffee and look out on the water. It’s a lovely quaint little place."

"This is the perfect cabin for a nature getaway! Spacious, comfortable, wonderful lake views, I was disappointed I had to leave. Jeff was quick to correspond and his home had everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. There are no big grocery stores nearby so Jeff let me know in advance so I could purchase foodstuffs on my way before I checked in. "Wild Peony was the perfect house for us. It was convenient to everything in Ocracoke Village. The house had all the comforts of home and a well-equipped kitchen. It was also immaculate! The best feature of this home was the lookout deck on top of the house. You could see Widgeon Woods, the marsh grasslands, the Pamlico Sound, the lighthouse and the sunsets and starry skies at night were just breathtaking! And you're up above everything in town! We hated to leave, and will definitely be back!"
