"The hotel is modern and clean; our room was generous in size with a comfortable king-size bed. It is located within an easy walk (even with roller-luggage) of the St Jean rail station. However, it is absurdly difficult to identify the hotel when driving a car whose navigation system has the address. Better to park at the railway station and call the hotel desk for help."

"The immediate area is a bit bland but it is only a short walk to the older and more interesting part of the city. The building is new and very clean and quiet. The room was spotlessly clean and was very comfortable."

"For the most part the hotel was nice. I asked for a second floor room (they said call next time to request), luckily they were able to change. I didn't hear much ( I am a light sleeper) the first couple of nights, but on Friday night people were very loud, so I didn't sleep much. Room was very basic, comfortable, but just a bed, bathroom and small desk. They give you a hot water kettle and some instant coffee. Breakfast was OK, basic continental fare. Can't recommend dinner there, it was not very good for the price. Walk or drive towards Talence, there are lots of places or go to the Intermarche. For one night passing through, this place is a yes, for multiple nights, I think I will look elsewhere in the future."

"So - when we arrived, the manager Nicolas was amazing. We were early, no problem… he gave us a newly refurbished room which whilst small was excellent. We asked about going into Bordeaux and he spend time talking us through how best to do it, where to go etc. he couldn’t do enough for us and all with a smile. Breakfast was fabulous… we would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay - just off the otorway but quiet! "

"We used this hotel to break a long journey twice. Could be cheaper for what you get. My son was bitten by bed bugs on the first stay. Had to prove on both stays that we had paid with bank statements and receipts as they tried to make us pay again. Paid for 5 breakfasts but we were only allowed to get 2 and refused to pay again for 3 more. Restricted 2 of my kids to one slice of bread each for breakfast! Aircon not working. Not obvious from the Expedia website that bathroom was not in the room. Not a problem but Expedia should make this more obvious and that you need your own towels. "

"I have been less then a night there, to arrive it was fine, the security was nice and explained how to do the check in, always doing his patrol around, so I felt safe with family. The bedroom was well cleaned , however the sink and bath plumbing was blocked , the dirty water wasn't going away, there was mold in the bathroom grout. I should not be there again unfortunately. Bed sheets , floor and litttle table was perfectly cleaned."
