"Checked in online had QR code to obtain keys. Advised hotel our arrival time would be midnight, arrived at international car park called reception to get directions from car park to hotel. Was told we did not have a room and they could not give us a room there due to technical issues, explained already checked in so room should be allocated was then told there was no way we could stay there and reception would call other hotels to try and accomodate us. Explained we had an early morning flight at international airport and the reason for choosing Rydges airport was to be able to walk to the airport, apparently no available rooms at Rydges despite already checking in. Reception then called another hotel and organised a room. If reception were aware there were no rooms they should have called me to advise me ahead of time that there would need to be a change of hotel, they should have already had a room organised and not wait til after midnight to be calling other hotels. Extremely disappointing and inconvenient to arrive and park at the airport parking only to have to go and drive to another hotel. "
