“The weeds, dumpsters and old furniture in the front drive was a sign this was not a good booking. There was a note taped to the front of the door about their mess during refurbishments. The place was chaos, there was an old charcoal grill in the weeds next to the side door. The room was somewhat updated but then not. Ok, that is what the front desk said, but reality told us differently. The carpets were either being taken up or laid on top of each other. When we checked in the hallway had……

“From the front receptionist to check out the next day, we have never felt more welcome and safe and peaceful and rejuvenated than we did at this lodge. The back outdoor view is breathtaking. The walking path is beautiful, the fire pits at night are a must. The restaurant was AMAZING!! The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna was a chefs kiss. I could go on and on about this property and never do it justice. We were dropping our oldest and first son off to college and this lodge overly calmed my……

“Staff was helpful but property overall needed work. Cleanliness was fair, hot tub did not work, toilet ran, etc. Breakfast was a 3 out of 10.”
