“A really great and clean stay with an amazing view of the city and Ano Syros. We booked the superior room with a balcony and sea view and it was perfect for us as it was very spacious with a very clean bathroom. It can comfortably fit a family or group of four. George was extremely helpful and kind, providing us with very useful information and recommendations on how to navigate not only the city but the island as well. There are quite a few steps to climb up to get to the hotel, so it might not……

“Un hébergement typique dans le village de Kini, à quelques pas de la plage et de l'arrêt de bus emmenant aux 4 coins de l'île. Les équipements sont suffisants pour quelques repas, et un mini market n'est pas très loin ! Certains logements sont accessibles par escaliers et la propriété est au bout d'un petit chemin de pierres non bétonné (bon à savoir avec de grosses valises ou des difficultés de mobilité). Un très bon séjour au global, je reviendrai si je suis de retour à Syros !”

“Excellent location, literary 30 seconds walk from the harbour. Room was compact but we had everything we needed. Shower drain needs improving, water very slow to drain after two showers. Being located on the ground floor next to the front door we experienced noise of guests coming in and out at night. Breakfast buffet was small but excellent quality with à la carte egg dishes also available. 15 mins complimentary massage in the spa was a nice touch and the WhatsApp concierge service was a life……

“I really enjoyed my stay at Aktaion Hotel. The location is perfect, right by the ferry port and within walking distance of Ermoupoli’s restaurants, cafés, shops and main sights. The hotel itself has so much character, with its beautiful antique/neoclassical interior and lovely views of the water. The staff were particularly warm, friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A charming place to stay when visiting Syros, and I would definitely come back!”

The islands quite small so we had an hard time getting a taxi from the airport and she sent her son to come pick us up! Everything about the stay was a 10/10! They are so kind, such great hospitality! Everything is exactly as described in the pictures and the place is so convenient and centrally located! We will definitely be back!”

“Can’t love this hotel more. From the very moment I was picked up from the port and checked in, Mr Roussos ensured it was a five star experience. The hotel is a grand neoclassical home turned hotel. The corridors are exquisite as are the huge stunning double doors entering into a comfortable and tastefully appointed air conditioned room. It was the perfect haven to relax after a full day out. The rooms are well stocked with high end toiletries, lush robes, slippers and a welcome gift of mastic……
