The Palazzo is beautifully restored and feels as though you are staying in a grand home. Perfect location above town, breakfast included, water and espresso machines in rooms for your convenience. “The location of this hotel is superb, the most convenient place to stay if you’re arriving by boat. The rooms are basic (better lighting needed and the bathroom was extremely tight). However the cafe is cute. And the staff were simply outstanding. Excellent value for money.”

“We were travelling as a mother & daughter and enjoyed our stay. Checkin was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious with a newish ensuite and we had the use of a large terrace which was pleasant in the evenings. The hotel was conveniently situated to town and the port. ”

“There was a range of foods -we honed in on fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt etc. coffee made to your preference. Meat seemed to be processed. Staff were quite attentive and kind and compensated with help with luggage on precarious stairs. Soap dish shattered in shower when I grabbed at it. Shower was most roomy and easy to use on our trip. Decor somewhat vintage. View of port was amazing from our window. Great location to ferry, restaurants. No regrets. We would definitely recommend to those who……

“Decent property with good facilities but extremely over-priced for what it offers. We paid Euro 312 for a suite; yet the bed was not even a king size, and the bathroom was so tiny that one person could barely fit in. Selection at the breakfast was limited and did not change from day-to-day. In addition, a fredo cappuccino at the bar was more expensive than in Athens at approx Euro 7! All and all, there are better properties in Syros with more on offering and with better value for money;……

“The Hotel Benois was very conveniently located across the road from the beach. Lots of eating options nearby as well. The staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Breakfast was very good with a decent variety of options. The rooms were very comfortable. Staying in Galissas is perfect if you want that beach experience yet it was a quick 15 min bus ride into Ermoupolis with the bus stop across the road. Having a pool to lounge around at anytime was also a treat. Would……
