"We had a great stay, our room was a good size and the bed was so comfy we wish we had stayed more than one night! Tasty breakfast in the morning with excellent coffee, we would definitely stay again."

"The room was clean and quite appealing. Because we were the only guests, we had the shared bathroom and toilet for ourselves. There was also a little private deck associated with the room which was great. The owners seemed to be nice but there was not much interaction happening as they kept to themselves. The location is great and folks who like the country side will enjoy it, as it has a quite nice garden and rural surroundings. The reason why we give it only three stars is that there was no...

Staying at Dyers House is a wonderful experience! Angela and Barry Hawkins are very knowledgeable about the area, as well as being warm, gracious and humorous hosts. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Views of the city from the house are exceptional, and the gardens that surround the home are lovely. I would highly recommend a stay here.

If you're looking for something near the airport and off the beaten path, this is it. A guest area in the complex was very comfortable and the breakfast snacks were plentiful. Hosts couldn't have been nicer. Even helped me find the Southern Cross.

What stood out the most for us in this stylish, low-key, well-located b&b was the personal knowledge of Christchurch that the owner, Chet, took pleasure in conveying to his guests. Shortly after arrival, he sat us down in the lovely separate breakfast building and gave us a copy of a map on which he had drawn up numerous recommendations for eating and shopping all the way from the b&b into downtown. He described each one, noting any tricky things about finding it or...

From the friendly staff to the excellent accommodations, we loved our stay at The Grange. Everything is within walking distance for city sites, and the public transport to other destinations are just a few blocks away. Wifi was also good. Definitely recommend!
