“Our safari at Lorian was absolutely outstanding and epic! It was small and very personal, with amazing service and food. We were blown away having gourmet dinners and meals cooked personally for us while in the "back country", overlooking a river with hippos, and right in the safari country. Betty was our game driver and was amazing. She was constantly on the phone with other drivers tracking what animals were where. We saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree, a lioness take down a wildebeest,……

“This is a camp so amenities are pretty basic. That is very understandable. If you’re a light sleeper, you might not find the area conducive for you as hippos could get loud at night. My biggest issue with this camp is that by default they would clean the tent and rearrange your stuff. I get that cleaning is essential but as someone who functions in a very specific manner, I’d hate to find out that my things have been rearranged. I talked to the camp manager about this and he wasn’t apologetic at……

“This hotel is a very old.I can understand it had its history since 1965. I respect the history but It is obvious that they had never renovate or make improvement to their rooms! The maintenance inside the room is very bad (e.g. paints falls out and cracks, spider webs all over corners).Mosquitos' corpse sticked on the nets in the toilets and windows which are disgusting! The "new" plastic toilet bowl cover is stabbing your back (because it cannot be opened widely to 90 degree as usual!) It was……

“A brilliant place to stay. Everyone very friendly. John took us round the Masai mara we saw every thing. He really knows his stuff. The food plentiful and delicious.”

“Facilities were fantastic, with hot water and flushing toilets. The only negative were the day staff who did not seem very friendly. I put this down to us getting off on the wrong foot, so was glad we were only staying here for two nights. The guy from our previous day -Safari drive was waiting for us at check out -with the day staff- ( all men ) stating we owed him an extra 10 Dollars, but we showed him the exchange rate and offered him the correct amount of one dollar- which he refused. “I cannot say enough good things about Elephant Pepper Camp! I stayed for 4 nights with my wife on an 18 day honeymoon, and out of all the places we stayed, including 5-star hotels in Cairo, Nairobi, Dubai, and the Maldives, we had the best service and the best food of all at Elephant Pepper.
