The staff everywhere were incredibly kind and attentive. On our last day, we had dinner at the Bistro, and the waitress there had such a warm smile and wonderful service—it made our meal especially enjoyable. We also loved the circus show, the Kids Club, and all the pool activities. Everything was fun and memorable. My kids really loved it. We knew going in that it wasn’t going to be a luxury hotel with five star service, however I was still amazed at the level of difference between PIC and a luxury hotel. Perhaps it’s cultural difference, but in every other country that has a bellperson, that role brings luggages to your room. At the PIC, they were surprised that I expected them to. Also, there’s no longer anyone manning the lagoon for kayaks. Guests have to retrieve their own kayaks so rude guests can just jump the queue if they happen to be standing where guests done kayaking decide to leave their kayak. There is, however, enough staff to man the guardhouse to ensure guests are wearing their bracelets even if they are completely not dressed for water activity as my MIL just wanted to watch her grandchildren play for a bit. And speaking of bracelets, they want you to wear it your whole stay, which we’ve done in the Caribbean, however, those resorts provide real bracelets, not paper ones that are supposed to be disposable, which is what we received from PIC. Even had the chance to watch the circus show at 730pm. My husband and I stayed for 3days and 2 nights and tried all of those things. I highly recommend this place for people with kids, they will definitely have fun! There’s also a restaurant that’s called Sunset BBQ that you can make a reservation and grill some food while watching the sunset (we didnt have a chance to try that, but if we come back, we’ll definitely try it) the rooms are just okay, nothing special.
