Delightful spa hotel, steeped in history
The hotel staff were supremely welcoming and helpful. We had a comfortable, clean room. The pool was lovely and a decent size and the spa treatments (I had a facial, my friend a full-body massage) while not cheap were great. The communal areas all felt relaxed, friendly and were very pretty. Less than ten minutes walk from the main pedestrianised road and the park which was hosting the 47th International Highland Folk Festival, we felt we were in the centre of all the excitement, and yet the hotel was calm and quiet on our return. Recently restored as a hotel (the history of changing hands and different purposes is fascinating), the Stamary is well worth the price.
