For my first time visiting in Kentucky, I’m glad I picked to stay at Regina’s Country Living. Hostess : Top notch hospitality; Regina looked out for everyone who stayed for the Kentucky Derby event like a mother. Our breakfast was homemade each morning, and it definitely brought back memories with of my grandma for Sunday and Christmas breakfast specials. Room/Home : Regina’s home had so much old southern world charm that had it not been so cool outside, that drinking a Mint Julep on the porch would have been a pleasant experience. I stayed in the “ King’s Room “, my bed was huge and the covers were soft and inviting. I slept good everyday I was there and I slept really good after the Derby. Each room had a story to tell and I’d especially liked the sky light in the family room. The park adjacent to the house is such a nice addition for anyone who just wants to take a walk or run. It’s perfect if you bring a dog with you on your stay as well. Thank you, Regina for opening up your home and being an amazing woman. Thank you for sharing an amazing friendly dinner with me at the Mexican restaurant and making sure a solo traveler felt like family even if it was for a few days. Looking forward to next year’s Kentucky Derby at your Bed and Breakfast.

Disappointing. Tv was messed up with a vertical line on the screen. Luckily my wife and I sleep in the same bed because the second bed was beyond acceptable. There were 2 permanent indents with a huge hump in the middle. While it used to be part of the Radisson, they separated it and you have to drive around to the other side of the hotel to go to the bar that’s in the same hotel. Guests were propping doors open to the outside that require a keycard. Several other guests were openly smoking marijuana outside. To get outside to the sidewalk to go for a stroll you had to go all the way down and around the corner because they built walls separating the main hotel and this one. We stayed here 2 years ago and it was mediocre but inexpensive. Now it’s just sad and beyond subpar. We won’t be back.

Our stay at Hotel Distil in Louisville was nothing short of exceptional—truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was incredibly friendly, quick, and efficient, making check-in seamless after a long day of travel. The room itself was stunning—spotlessly clean with beautiful, high-end finishes and thoughtfully curated products that made everything feel luxurious and comfortable. We also had dinner at the on-site steakhouse, and it was absolutely incredible. Not only was the meal outstanding, but the manager personally came over to check in on us, which made the experience feel even more special and personalized. One of our favorite touches was the prohibition-style whiskey toast—such a unique and memorable detail that really set this hotel apart. Overall, we had an amazing stay and can confidently say this is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We would 100% return and highly recommend Hotel Distil to anyone visiting Louisville!

It was ok for one night

Very comfortable pool area with outdoor bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
