“The rooms are nice, but if you are travelling there in the off season like we did, please note that they don’t seem fully ready to receive guests. The heat wasn’t working and while they tried their best to accommodate this, it still was a small issue. There was also no wifi as advertised.”

“Lovely apartment with kitchenette, spacious bathroom, spacious living room and nice comfy big bed. Really great price for the area and has parking right out the front. For us it was a perfect location being out of the centre as we had a car but if you don’t have a car it is close enough to get into the main centre by walking or taxi. (If walking be aware that chefchaouen is in the mountain so the centre will be uphill) Staff friends and helped us to the room with our luggage. Breakfast……

My 14-year-old son and I were backpacking through Morocco when he spotted this riad on Expedia during our bus ride to Chefchaouen. “This Riad is not near the Medina as was suggested in the listing. It was a 30 minute walk. Not a single person was there, besides us. They were kind, but this Riad was not very hospitable like the others we stayed in. They were not able to assist us very much or suggest anything. The room was smaller than the photos suggested, and it was cold and rainy but the heater in the room did not work very well as we needed. It was also more expensive than other Riads which are much better. We hoped more……

“This is my first time to visit Chefchaouen, Morocco. I stayed 4 nights in Diyar Marhaba. Lucky it is close to the carpark which the taxi can stops. Just 3 mins walk and easy to find the location. Not worry the cold weather, they have heater in the room. Fresh orange juice and coffee for breakfast. Beautiful blue city view at the roof top with breakfast. Staffs are very helpful. Especially thanks Yusfu, he is not just give me information about Blue city. He shared a lot of informations……
