"Our stay at this holiday rental was extremely disappointing and far below an acceptable standard. The property was in terrible condition when we arrived. The bed sheets were ripped and we discovered what appeared to be bed bugs in certain areas of the bedding. There were spiders everywhere throughout the house, and the windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, if not years.The couches were stained, the floors were dirty, and the overall smell of the house was dreadful. It felt unhygienic and completely unprepared for guests. We initially tried to clean parts of the house ourselves just so we could stay, but it quickly became obvious that it would take multiple weekends of deep cleaning just to bring the property up to a basic living standard.This completely ruined our family weekend. We were travelling with elderly family members and ended up spending most of our day trying to find alternative accommodation and relocating everyone. Instead of enjoying our holiday, we spent hours dealing with a stressful situation that should never have happened.Overall, the condition of this property was unacceptable and extremely misleading compared to what you would expect from a holiday rental. I would not recommend staying here unless the property is properly cleaned, maintained, and brought up to a reasonable standard."

"Great property but poorly maintained. The gas wasn’t checked so we couldn’t turn on the gas fire and needed to watch the hot water as it was mainly heated by gas. Also the tv in the guest room and overhead lights didn’t work. The light didn’t work over the bbq so we cooked in the dark. Just details that aren’t checked that add impact to the trip."
