"This hotel is average at best. Stayed twice recently, 1st time the toilet flooded under the tiles, the 2nd time there was a disgusting chemical smell when we entered the room - no wonder the windows were open. Night porter is simply not trained in bar service - a flat pint , and a 25ml baileys poured and charged for (should be 50ml). "

"The whole experience was poor. My wife was checking in late at night, should have been a smooth experience but she was pressurised to show driving licence as a form of ID when just the booking confirmation should have sufficed. There was karaoke until the early hours (its a pub so some noise is expected but it wasn't clear on the booking page). Biggest issue is that she just generally felt unsafe being there. "

"Im rating excellent as all the staff members were excellent and helpful. I just wish they had toilet brushes in the room - its embarrasing and unhygenic to not have a toilet brush in a hotel room."
