“This is a conveniently positioned accommodation with a helpful owner living on site. It is reasonably priced and near a bus interchange as well as the tram line. That said, the single beds are tiny. I am 5'6 and feet were over the endand it was so narrow I could barely turn over. They need replacing.
The en suite was OK, cramped and a small shower, but ok for one night.
The exit rules were unusual! You have a key code, exit via the fire escape and through a beer garden which as the pub doesn't……
“The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped. Beautiful location with great views, quiet and seems remote but convenient short drive to shops.”
“Very good new hotel. Good rooms and hotel areas. Unfortunately breakfast quality needs a little attention. Bacon over cooked too long under service heat and dried, similar for fried eggs and had to request. Ladies working breakfast service very good and helpful. Did not see anyone from kitchen keeping watch and stocking breakfast buffet which was surprising for such a good hotel”
“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”
“There is a very good service. Although my original room has no electricity, they let me have a suite room. Their cooked breakfast is very delicious, especially the smoked salmon.”
“Overall we had a pleasant stay. We stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Chatsworth house the next day, and the location was convenient. The check-in process was smooth, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was pretty standard, spacious, comfy bed. On site parking was decent
The only things I can say negatively was the shower wasn't great, the toilet had a really weak flush. The floor was very creeky, and there was quite a bit of noise coming from the room above in the morning.”
