"Manava Resort is an absolute dream! You feel like you've stepped straight into a fantasy world that movies are made to model. There is so much that sets them apart, but the deep level of care and kindness shows by the staff really takes Manava to level of hospitality that is unmatched. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Don't miss a sunset or sunrise. Getting straight into the ocean from a private bungalow over the water is like nothing you could put into words. The location is great. It's not far (maybe 15 mins) from the ferry terminal and taxis are easy to come by. Honestly, we never felt the need or want to leave the resort as they had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! 20/10 recommend!!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Moorea. The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The garden and beachfront setting are truly magical. Waking up to that view each day felt like something out of a postcard.The location is excellent and very convenient to the ferry, which made arriving and departing easy. It is also next to the golf course and small airstrip. We were a bit surprised the first time a plane landed, but it quickly became part of the charm of the area and never disturbed our sleep.I would recommend having a car so you can easily explore the island, and there is space to park a small car at the property.Michele and Elisabeth were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Moorea. "

"We had a great time in the two weeks we spent there. The host was so gracious and shared some culinary dishes, lovely fresh flowers and a smile every time we saw her. Great location, close to a beautiful beach. Listening to the crashing of the waves while relaxing on a beach chair was a perfect way to spend time. Would definitely visit again! "

"We found the property in good condition when we arrived. However, we quickly realized the property is completely open to all of the elements. That was not made clear in the listing and proved to be a real issue throughout our stay. There are no soffits throughout the property. During our stay within the first 24 hours we discovered mice in one of the bungalows. In that same bungalow the door lock broke as we were exiting for breakfast leaving our friends crawling out of their window to exit. Our friends ended up checking out early despite having paid because of the issues with mice. We expected geckos and bugs because of the location but mice are holistically unacceptable. I am giving it three stars because the hosts were nice and responsive. But please rent this home expecting to essentially camp with air conditioning in the bedrooms. "
