Stone Barn, well equipped, scrupulously clean, with Stunning Countryside Views.
This beautifully converted, well-equipped, scrupulously clean stone barn, is set in the tranquil, picturesque countryside (national park) close to the village of Manorbier, with its renowned surfing (sandy) beach, stunning coastal path, small family-owned local pub and post office shop. The house is spacious and equipped to a high standard while still maintaining its character. There are 3 bedrooms and a modern bathroom upstairs. Bedroom 1 also has an en-suite shower room. A luxurious space for six people, with expected additional facilities such as good wi-fi. The house is light and airy in the summer and underfloor heating also makes for a cosy winter-break. There is a large, private garden and an expansive patio and seating area from which the stunning views as far as the sea can be appreciated and on which there is plenty of room for a hot tub, which can be hired locally, if desired at additional cost . Car parking for up to four vehicles is adjacent to the house. This stone barn is part of a small family farm. A new addition on this adjacent farm, are a small group of alpacas, which you can take for a walk. A lovely experience can be booked and spent on a guided walk through the farm fields and countryside with these adorable animals. There are 2 other holiday lets located on this farm, a very short walk away, which can hold 2 persons (The Bakehouse) and 6 persons ( The Orchard) respectively . The destination of Pembrokeshire is a delight for a holiday location. Pembrokeshire coastal path is world-renowned for its stunning views and the entire national park countryside is a beautiful, relaxing surrounding in which to escape and walk. (Well behaved, clean dogs are permitted to stay at the cottage at a small additional cost). Tenby, with its beaches, harbour, artisan shops and restaurants is a 10 minute drive. There are numerous, beautiful beaches (and 3 castles!) within a 5-20 minute drive of the holiday barn. On a rainy day for children, within a 10 minute drive there is Heatherton activity centre and Anna Ryder-Richardson’s Manor Park Farm. The thrills of Oakwood or The Blue Lagoon or Folly Farm may appeal to many family members – approximately 15minute drive. Other local activities include Coasteering, Fishing trips, Trips to Caldey island and there are lots of wonderful free activities such as crabbing at Lawrenny quay, stepping stones at Carew and walking across the beautiful lily ponds at Bosherston.

Brilliant property in a lovely location, so peaceful.
Cottage is real well equipped and finished to a high standard. Kitchen was excellent and had everything required to cook a full Xmas dinner.
Really clean and very well located. Loved the place and think it is probably the favourite of all of the cottages we have stayed in, in over 20 years of visiting Pembrokeshire. Will definitely re-book next year.
The property was just lovely, very clean & everything you could possibly need. A nice welcome gift of wine & chocolates. The views are gorgeous & a very welcoming friendly local pub within walking distance. Enjoyed Tenby & Saundersfoot. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely brilliant the premises were spotless with all the facilities nice and bright the owner was very helpful and polite just a 10 minute drive into the centre of Tenby but really peacful if you are looking for accommodation in the area i would highly recommend this Stone Barn *****
The house was lovely, and the views were amazing. We had a lovely week and made use of the BBQ and sitting outside. Our dog loved the garden and all the sticks he could find. The only slight issue is that we hadn't realised the garden wasnt enclosed so we had to keep a close eye on the dog. We visisted some lovely beaches and Stackpole area was a firm favourite especially coffee and cake at the National Trust cafe.
Had a wonderful short break , property spotless with everything that you could possibly need to make your stay there perfect. Stunning views to the sea, peaceful and tranquil, great location to explore . Highly recommend renting this property
We stayed atThe Stables for 3 nights over the New Year it was really spacious, great kitchen with everything you would need, clean, and in a great location, Our hosts John and Christine were friendly and easy to contact. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Hope to come back soon.
A wonderful place to stay whilst we explored the beautiful surrounding coast. We had a wonderful time and the hosts welcomed us on the first day but otherwise left us to ourselves.
I would heartily recommend this place.
Beautiful cottage, stunning views in a perfect location for the places we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed, great with the dogs and access to the utility room as the weather was very unpredictable. A very relaxing break we will definitely return.
Perfect property lovely welcome by Christine. Alpacas on site was great
Excellent property. Quick response every time from the owner John with a lovely welcome from his mum Christine. Alpacas on site was amazing with a baby born during our stay. Kids were thrilled. Highly recommend you stay!
Good barn conversion but problems communicating with owner
A reasonably clean and well converted barn. There were a few minor maintenance niggles but not enough to spoil the experience. Very close to Manorbier and its beach but we preferred to drive the 25 minutes to the excellent Barafundle Beach near Stackpole Quay. Our main issue, however, was communicating with the owner. We really wanted a hot tub but made the mistake of questioning the high service charge the owner imposes. We thought we had an amicable agreement but then the owner failed to progress the hot tub booking and ignored our emails. The owner’s mother, who looks after the property on site, was very friendly but our complaint to her did not even evoke a response from the owner. Whatever the reason for ignoring us (technical or otherwise) that was not acceptable business practice.
Great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. Well equipped, great location, stunning views and dog friendly. Convenient for beaches, attractions and walking distance to a fantastic pub. Great hosts, can’t wait to return!
Just had a lovely three nights at the Stables. Everything was lovely from the kind welcome, seeing the Alpacas and the country lanes to the local towns
The photos on the site don't do this little gem justice.
Very well equipped and high standard of cleanliness - spotless actually.
The weather was kind so we were able to make the most of BBQing and even had our friend's family over for dinner on one of the nights.
Would highly recommend if folks want a break a (very) short ride outside of town and in beautiful country side.
