“The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. ”

“Check in and out was easy. Room needs a good cleaning. Ceiling blew dust everywhere when turned on. Did not know water was not potable but there was bottled for our use. Shower could use a good cleaning with Clorox. Blind in front window needs replacing. Not awful just ok for a couple of nights. ”

“The views are spectacular! From sunset fires, stargazing, or sunrise with coffee in hand, there’s no time of day you can’t be in awe of the vistas.The kitchen space is a great shared area. “The room and the property were wonderful ! Views were gorgeous. Extremely remote. The map listing said 17 minute walk to the Starlight in Terilingua which is why we booked… it’s actually a 5.5 hour walk there. It’s a 2 mile dirt road up to the property off of the highway and then a 30 minute drive to Terilingua. Not sure if that’s just a glitch with the maps .. Overall we made it work but was disappointing being so far. The property is beautiful , definitely grateful to have stayed. Had……
