"This is the second time we’ve stayed here and this time was just as good as the first! It’s very dog friendly, our room was spacious and clean and the staff (and guests!) were all really friendly. We ate in the bar one evening. I’m a pescatarian and I had the Nourish Salad Bowl with crispy smoked tofu. I’m not always the keenest on tofu however this meal was absolutely delicious! My partner had the Sausage and Fennel Ragu and he loved that too. Looking forward to our next visit already! "

"I spent 4 nights at the Hotel du Vin in June 2024. I had never been to one of their properties before. Simon checked me in and was very helpful. The rooms are generous and I was very comfortable. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. The location is fabulous for exploring this town, going to a show, or seeing all the Shakespeare sights. "

"This is a fantastic hotel, really helpful and friendly staff. Our room was huge with comfortable beds, the room was very clean and had black out curtains. No mini fridge in the room which would have been nice. The restaurant and bar are gorgeous rooms, lovely decor throughout the hotel. The grounds are a nice place for a stroll. Brrakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. I would stay here again."

"We stayed in a double room at the back of the property with a view of the river. The room was very well equipped with tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a bottle of water for both of us. There was ample hanging space in the wardrobe and a large cupboard if needed. The bathroom was sizeable with a bath with overhead shower. Located in the centre of Tewkesbury it was convenient. We didn't eat here as we have relatives we were visiting but we did look at the menu and felt it looked good and was a reasonable price. We would choose to stay here again."

"Perfect location, genuine welcome and a lovely room with little special touches like Twinings tea and fresh milk in the minibar. Both the service and the atmosphere in the bar was lovely. Breakfast was excellent! Faultless on every level - and a great reminder to always choose an independent hotel."
