“Absolutely fabulous. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book - possibly in autumn/winter to take advantage of the RSPB locations nearby. Lovely hosts, Colin and Gina Ash, fabulous, comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage and, oh, so quiet. Set in beautiful gardens with a duck pond to the rear of the decked areas to the cottages (all private). Could have sat out for hours just enjoying the peace and location. Wonderful full size snooker table (have so much to learn!), darts board and books. Can't wait to...

“Beck view was amazing. It was a luxury experience. Bathrobes, toiletries and welcome pack all lovely. Enjoyed sunbathing on the patio area. All mod cons in the beautiful kitchen.”

“Accommodation good and comfortable but description of fishing nearby not accurate since nearest waterway was so weeded up that fishing was impossible. Owner was welcoming and there were helpful information leaflets. Plum bread delicious! Setting peaceful and sights to see.”

“Cosy, warm and well appointed cottage set in quiet and spacious grounds. The friendly hosts are on hand and able to offer help and advice as needed. The location is good with easy access to nearby towns and to three bird reserves. Overall, one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in over many years. “For some where to relax and silence around the country I would highly recommend the parlour. Nice and peaceful apart from few traffic. Me and and wife loved the relaxing time. Brilliant place for our dog nice walks.Would definitely return in the future.”

“Pleasant stay at this cottage. Well equipped, enclosed garden, and very warm (underfloor heating throughout). Slightly dated interior could stand a refresh and minor maintenance needed like the bathroom fan and an external light not working, but this is minor nit-picking when compared to the good value this place represents! Would happily stay again and recommended for future guests.”

“Good size and well equipped room. Most things newish and everything worked. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. One big issue stood out. The bathroom had no power socket (e.g. for shaver) and the sink/mirror area was in a small, dark, unlit alcove that prevented easy and convenient useuse”
