The person maintaining the breakfast room did an exceptional job, right on task, kept tables clean, very pleasant. Our hotel room was cold & damp. Curtain broken & window was covered over in plastic so we could not look out. Hallways are very poorly lit.

Even during their current remodeling, they earned 5 stars!! The upgrades are super and the staff very helpful. I was greeted with an incredibly fresh aroma when I entered the property. Nice touch!!

Date important:7/18. Facility if under major exterior construction which was not advertised in advance. This had several negatives. Parking lot contained trash and debris. Side entrance ways and surrounding hallways contained construction debris. Fire access doors auto closures were disconnected leaving staircase and hallway doors open that should have been closed. This was the most troubling. Staff was excellent, breakfast was fresh and staff member was working hard to keep stocked and clean. Rate did not take into account the inconveniences.

Under construction with loud banging in the AM. Very humid in the room itself like the building wasn't being properly airconditioned. Im the room, there was a strange/moldy odor. Some of the staff were helpful, and let us switch rooms. The room cleaner found our tablet and made sure we got it back after switching rooms which was a life saver. One of the breakfast staff members was unprofessional and clearly just wanted to talk on her phone and was annoyed by the presence of guests. I get the stress but try to take that into the back room. There is a water bottle refill station which is nice The rooms themselves are clean. Stairs need help. There is always coffee and hot water in the foyer which is awesome.

The building was undergoing some construction, which we wish we had known about before booking. However, it did not negatively affect our stay. The rooms were nice and clean, and the lobby was very well kept. The front desk staff was helpful and patient. We had a fairly large group, and at times our kids and group gathered in the lobby and it got a little loud. The staff handled it very professionally and politely asked us to keep the noise down when needed. Breakfast was decent overall, although I would have liked to see a few more hot, freshly prepared options.

Good place to stay just off the hwy

This hotel was a great stop on our way down to South Carolina. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast. One of the best hotel breakfasts we have had with a large dining room.
