The house and location was just beautiful with 4 acres of Garden to enjoy, along with the open water naterual swiming pond, out door eating area with wood fired Pizza oven and an amazing wood fire hot tub, just brilliant. “This is perfect accommodation for a group. It is spacious and the kitchen is huge with everything you could possibly need for a cook up. Everything was clean and comfortable - all the beds were wonderfully comfortable with super kings in two of the bedrooms. The living/dining area worked well as it is so spacious, so that even with a large group we weren't falling over each other. The patio and many windows are south facing so we enjoyed a sunny aspect with plenty of space for outdoor dining, or……

“We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. We are a 3 generation family and this worked well for everyone. Plenty of communal space to spread out into, good central heating and a beautifully kept garden. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom perfect……

“The property is huge, with 23 of us staying, there was ample room for us all to eat together, at in the living room and loads of bedrooms including an accessible ground floor bedroom which we needed. The family style bedrooms really suited us with small kids in tow. Garden and location is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub is a lovely addition. The property is a little dated in terms of decor but it suited us space wise and we had absolutely everything we needed. We had a fabulous weekend……

“We needed a base in this area for family reasons and the position and configuration of the accommodation suited us perfectly. The yard setting may not be to everyone's taste but it brought clear memories of my childhood farmyard! My husband (in his eighties) found walking on the cobbles a bit difficult. Within easy reach of A30.”
