“We loved our stay at the cabin. The owner was super helpful and promptly responded to any questions or requests. The location is great, a very natural and peaceful setting and as a bonus there is a bar/ restaurant just a short walk away. ”

“Our visit was in mid May and the area was lush and green. Including an assortment of waterfowl in the little pond in front of the cabin. Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating. We were coming out or winter/early spring season into when the cabin is most occupied so there...

“Perfect place for my husband, adult son (22) and I to enjoy the outdoors. The house faces the lake and although small, it is well laid out and did not feel cramped. Loved that the house came with a fire pit, use of canoe (didn't use) and kayak. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was very clean and organized. We knew before we booked that we would have to drive far for restaurants and groceries, and since we were mid week, many restaurants were closed so we came equipped and...

“My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”

“was wonderful. The cabin is always spotlessly clean, exceptionally well-stocked with everything we could need, and in a beautiful area. We love the quiet, the comfort, and the very responsive owner. Already thinking about visiting again soon. Highly recommended!”

“8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon.”

“This is easily one of the most unique and cool places I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing and experiencing. It’s so serene, so green, and so peaceful. You can tell there was a lot of love and care put into this property! There is so much to offer, and the owners made is that much better. “The cabin was just as described. The owners contacted us ahead of time with arrival information and key codes. We had a lovely weekend stay! I also appreciate being able to bring our family dog! Would definitely recommend. ”

“We were in the area for a family wedding and this rental worked perfectly. It really was a home away from home, full kitchen, laundry area. The 2nd floor had a seperate living area, full bath and sleeping area for my son’s family with 2 small children. Had I stayed longer I may have enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.”
