“This was a wonderful place to stay. Although it is off-grid it does have a mini fridge, A/C and a normal toilet (the toilet is located in it's own building attached to the main bedroom but is private and not inconvenient at all). The VRBO is on the owners land but is still secluded and very peaceful. We did not see anyone else while we were there and it definitely felt like we had the place to ourselves.At night we watched the fireflies and the the stars. Such a perfect spot to unwind. “A cozy, cute, unique property, better than pictured. Close to town but with a very country feel. Loved the sunrise view from the porch swing, the sound of nature waking up all around us, and the Bald Eagle sightings every morning from the front deck. The hosts are such nice people! They provided ebikes for us to use; we took them to the New River Trail - an amazing way to spend the day, because this is a gorgeous trail. We also went to New River Outdoor Adventures for kayaking on the New River.……

“Overall, the property was quite nice! We wished the hot water lasted a bit longer and that the curtains kept the rooms a bit darker but overall, it was nice. If you’re looking for a good spot to set up while you tour wineries in the area, this is a great choice!”
