“The canvas cabin was basically brand new as were all the furnishings. Same for the entire facility. Everything was clean and new. It was a nice glamping place. I was worried about heat, since it was about 50 degrees. The space heater worked like a champ. I stayed there to bicycle the Hincapie Gran Fondo about 3 miles away at Hotel Domestique. It was a quick and easy commute. The camp store and bathroom facilIty was also basically brand new and very nice. ”

“We had such a wonderful time at Field Trip. Highlights from our trip were listening to the frogs at night, birds in the morning, and family time in nature. We will definitely be back. The beds were amazing.”

“This was a family gathering for a Furman University graduation; this location was perfect. We loved the open plan for the living areas which allowed for easy interactions from the kitchen, the huge dinner table, and the tv area. You would never think that this house has six bedrooms (two master suites) and four bathrooms!!! The kitchen has most of what you will need to put together meals, the coffee bean grinder coffee maker is a nice touch. The addition of a medium level grill would be a……

“Great location! We had a ton of fun in the unit. Bed was very comfortable. The view out the window was wonderful. Air conditioning on a hot night was essential...so glad the unit had it. We could not see any other units from the bed. It felt like we had the forest to ourselves. Shared bathroom, gift shop, and shower on the site were very clean. It was a short walk to the community building from the unit.Take a chance, glamping was a wonderful experience!”

“We weren’t given check in instructions and had to call (they responded promptly but still frustrating as we didn’t know where to go or what our door code was). Hot tub was fully booked (the entire reason we came) so we didn’t get to use it. Store was sold out of almost everything. We were woken up in the middle of the night to someone possibly chopping wood? Sounded like it was a tree getting hit by lightning repeatedly for 30 mins. Scared us all. And I left with a screw in each of my back……
