It was fine for a night and better than other hotels/motels in the area on the non water side of US31. The shower was a little bit grimy and the tub floor in my room had some "bounce" to it, which made me have questions. The staff was good and the rest of the facility looked good. It's not a bad walk to get food and to the State Park beach.

As we were leaving for the night I realized our door wasn't locking when it closed. I notified the front desk and they immediately came to look at it. Determined maintenence guy was needed, and let us know they'd have it taken care of when we returned. So imagine my surprise when we get back and not only can we still walk right in, but ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS were also missing! They weren't able to fix the door so they changed our room and moved our things - while not ideal, I'm ok with instead of leaving our things in the unlocked room. They offered no refund or discount for the troubles. Will absolutely NOT be staying here again.

No one stays behind the front desk, so you have to use the phone to call, the hotel and room were clean. The bathroom exhaust fan needed to be dusted and we had no body wash in our shower so we used the bar soap. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean and smelled like bleach but the walls are very thin and you can hear the tv and conversations of people staying next to you.

I had to cancel after the deadline. The hotel staff spoke such poor English that they were unable to understand or help me with the situation. Expedia tried to help and now the hotel doesn't want to honor the partial refund policy posted on the Expedia website. Never made it to the hotel and I feel Expedia should be more selective in their choices of accommodations that they recommend. Very disappointed. Not only could I not make it I have had to spend way too much of my time to get the partial refund that was promised.

You get what you pay for. For the most part it was surface clean, but you could easily see where a deep clean had not been done in a long time. My sheets were thread bare, and I'm not sure the comforter had been cleaned. I could see dirt/makeup/something along the edge. They only dump the garbage and replenish towels & coffee. They do not make your bed. And they didn't empty the garbage the first day I was there, but the front desk lady insisted she did.

This hotel was better than I expected and I would happily stay here again. I would have given it an excellent rating if: 1) The shower had better water pressure, 2) The shampoo, etc. containers in the shower had something in them, 3) breakfast was more substantial (eggs, bacon, etc. rather than two dry cereal options, toast, muffins, and yogurt), and 4) the TV had more channels to choose from (especially golf and other sports channels).

Ran out of coffee and muffins. Has to ask for more .... has to wait because the front desk person was also cleaning rooms. That being said they promptly made it and were polite.
