Awesome
Our family visited Traverse City for grandson's wedding & decided to book this property rather than stay in hotel. GREAT decision. Property & its host are great. We always enjoy home-like properties that allow us to maintain our schedule. This was perfect.

Quiet, peaceful stay
The house and property look just as pictured. The place was easy to find, quiet and peaceful. It was an easy, short drive into Traverse City. Communicating with the owner was a breeze. I highly recommend this place!

Great location. Nice place.
Excellent location! Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, 5 minutes to Traverse City. Lots of trails nearby. But property needs a few things. Only 2 kitchen chairs and yet sleeps 4. Good outdoor eating areas, but it rained for two days and we couldn't eat outside. No reading lamps by beds. Otherwise very nice!

Great getaway!
Marjorie's place is a perfect up North getaway! It was just as described - very quiet location at the end of a dead-end street. Close to Traverse City snd loved Peegeos local restaurant! Enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck. Thank you, Marjorie, for letting us stay!

Perfect Lake House
The house was nice and clean. The fenced in backyard was so nice for my dogs. It was a wonderfully peaceful place and the property manager was always available when I needed her. I will definitely stay here again

Great Little Place to Stay
This was a cute little place in a quiet neighborhood that was close to Traverse City and all the amenities! It was nicely stocked with everything we needed. There were only a couple things that I believe could make it any better. First it doesn't have central AC but that wasn't a big issue since it's located in the woods, which was great. However, I would have liked to have been able to open windows but there were no screens on windows or doors. The outdoor furniture was a great addition but for the morning that it was too cool and rainy to sit outdoors, it needs more comfortable furniture indoors. Other than that the cottage was great and Marjorie was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I'd definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Immaculate, beautiful setting, serene, and dog friendly
Serene lake view with steps down to the lake and dock, large fenced yard with huge trees, is very private. The upstairs patio with lake and woods view is wonderful for relaxing. The home is immaculate, comfortable, and very well stocked. The home is on one level with a slope outside to the fenced yard. We were careful on the few steps into the house and on the many steps to the dock since there are no handrails. We saw a deer on the property one morning. Our dog was enthralled sniffing and running in the very large fenced yard. It’s a peaceful and beautiful setting.

Love this precious calming house!
We absolutely loved our stay! The views are amazing and our hosts were perfect! Anything we needed (of which there were few,) they provided in five minutes or less. We’re looking forward to coming back to this serene property again!

An Amazing Space
We had a wonderful stay. Marjorie’s cottage is amazing - it is peaceful and nestled in a beautiful wood. Her communication is bar none. We had many questions, and she spent ample time helping out! Thank you!
